"Blue Camo Beach" is a pleasantly paced video reel of 16 attractive young men sunbathing on a tropical beach wearing blue camo print swimwear. The series came about because I wanted an original photo of a youth in togs at the beach, for this article about teen waxing:
Due to the sensitive nature of the topic, I wanted the youth to look modest enough not to offend, but adult enough to show that he was well advanced on his journey through puberty. To achieve that, I aimed for candid self-conscious shots, not one of him flexing for the camera.
For no particular reason, the common clothing theme throughout is that their swimsuits are blue camo in colour. Some of the models wear more modest American-style swim shorts while others favour Speedo-style togs.
I'm happy with how the series turned out and with the photo I eventually chose. If you admire the athletic male body for its natural beauty, come spend a few minutes on this sunny afternoon somewhere in the South Pacific.
